This digital stud locator has been designed to locate wood, metal and live cables.
Featuring a large LCD display detailing the location and object type.
There are five search modes available:
Locating Centre of an Object
Incorporated within the large display is a set of left and right indication bars which show the position of the instrument against the edge of a stud or live wire.
Live Wire
The Live Wire search mode detects the position of a Live Wire and warns the operator through a visual display and a loud audible bleep. Two levels of sensitivity are available where 'High' is used for thick walls and 'Low' for standard wall thicknesses.
Wood Studs
Wood indicator and central bar displays the position of the instrument against a wooden stud.
Metal
The indicator bars will display the position of the metal object.
Calibration
The instrument can be recalibrated to reset the digital sensors.
