Extech HD-600 - Datalogging Sound Level Meter

The Extech HD600 is a professional sound level meter with a large data logging memory.

It has a very high, 1.4dB accuracy and meets the Type 2 standards (ANSI & IEC 61672-1).

Data Logging
The internal memory allows for up to 20,000 readings at an interval rate of 1/sec to 1/59sec. Each recording session is saved as a data set and each record is saved with a date and time stamp. This data can be downloaded using the supplied software.

If taking a reading every 59 seconds, the Extech HD600 can continually record for a maximum period of 13 days before the memory is full. This allows for remote recording of sites to determine the patterns of noise levels.

When connected to a PC, the Extech HD600 can capture up to 10 readings per second with-time date/time stamp, when connected to a PC.

Power Supply
For applications where the Extech HD600 is required to capture data over a long period of time, the supplied mains power supply can be utilised. This allows the instrument to be setup and left for days or weeks without revisiting the site to change batteries.
