This 90° safety torch is a robust, reliable battery powered safety torch for use in explosive gas and dust atmospheres.
Completely waterproof and dustproof, this torch is extremely durable with high impact resistance even in extreme temperatures. The design can withstand the extreme conditions often found in the areas where it is expected to operate.
The torch has a stainless steel EX ’e’ self locking bulb capsule. This allows the torch to be opened safely in a hazardous area to change the capsule if the bulb has blown. Zinc chloride or alkaline batteries may be used and the torch has 2 spare bulbs in the base.
