The Leica DISTO D5 sets the bench mark for exterior laser measuring. Features the highest measuring accuracy (±1mm) over a distance of 200m combined with a digital point finder.

Large Colour Display
The Leica DISTO D5 features a large, high resolution colour 2.4” display clearly presenting the measuring results, colour video from the pointfinder and additional information in an easy to read format.



Digital Pointfinder
Th Leica DISTO D5 is the first instrument to incorporate a high resolution, crystal-clear digital Pointfinder with a 4x zoom.



Long Range Mode
The Long Range (LR) mode can be selected to allow measurements over long distances and in sunny conditions to be recorded without problems.

Tilt Sensor
Thanks to the in-built digital tilt sensor, you can quickly and simply measure tilts up to ± 45°. The tilt sensor also allows you to measure absolutely horizontally or measure past obstructions (horizontal distance).



Multi-functional
The Leica DISTO D5 features a multifunctional endpeice allowing measurements from a corner, simply flip out the end piece and take the measurement. The instrument will automatically sense the position of the bracket and adjust the measurement accordingly.

Multiple functions
The Leica DISTO D5 can also calculate areas, volumes, room dimensions and various types of Pythagorean functions and a new Trapezium function. A time delay release and enough memory for up to 20 measurements finish off the instruments wide range of functions – a concept designed to make your work easier.
