Protimeter Hygromaster - Humidity Meter

The Protimeter Hygromaster is a hand-held instrument for taking spot measurements, logging humidity and temperature values.

Quick spot measurements of relative humidity, dew point, mixing ratio and ambient temperature are shown on a split display at the touch of a button.


Measuring Concrete Floors
There are two methods available to measure the ERH levels of concrete floors.

1. Surface Kit
Complies with requirements given in BSI8201, BSI8203 & BSI5325.



Foam block is placed on the surface of the floor, the hygrostick is pushed into the hole on the side to measure the ERH of the cavity within.


2. Sub-Surface Kit
This combination is utilised with the humidity sleeves for measuring the ERH readings of solid floors and walls.



They are inserted into pre-drilled holes to create an air pocket for measuring with a Hygrostick.

Data Logging
The Protimeter Hygromaster can be set to record measurements over time. The user sets the instrument to record measurements as required and leaves it in place for the required period of time. The memory contents are then downloaded to a PC using optional software where the logged measurements are displayed in tabular and graphical form.

The user selects four data logging parameters listed below:
- Logging interval: 1 minute to 24 hours
- Delayed start logging: 1 minute to 24 hours
- Number of logs: maximum of 398 records
- Job number: range from 1 to 15
